I've been wanting to do this piece for a long time now, but after my computer shited the bed at home, I had to wait it out until I got my apps back.

Here's a little background I came up with for her while I was waiting to render her...

So the story goes that a Buddhist monk and priestess had managed to hold up against the constant swarms and defend their remote temple in the hills for months, when one day, they noticed a particular zombie who had a much brighter skin tone than the rest. She was also particularly aggressive, and could almost command obedience from the rest of the horde. Since the beginning of the outbreak, the priestess had a theory that if brought under proper circumstances, zombies could be 're-programmed' and taught to control their urges. The monk disagreed, but at this point, both were willing to try anything. It's unclear how, but they were able to capture this particular undead, restrain her, and bring her into an inner room in the temple. The rumors say that for the next few weeks, they fed her some sort of root (still unknown at this point) to keep her hunger for flesh at bay, and kept her body from decomposing by applying some sort of mysterious fluid to her skin. They chanted all hours of the day within earshot of her. Miraculously, they were able to keep her ravenous disposition under control. The monk then had an idea to try to train her with swords, so that they might be able to use her against the horde that still relentlessly tried to destroy their temple and everything inside it. Surprisingly, she was quite receptive to it, and picked up basic skills in less than two days.

For weeks, they would send her out to clear out the seemingly endless wave of the horde, and things became increasingly optimistic. Things did not stay that way, however. Day by day, the trained zombie seemed to grow increasingly puzzled by why she has slain an endless amount of those which looked much like her. The Monk and Priestess became aware of this, and decided that the good time was coming nearer to an end, and that they must strike before the situation became dangerous. It was too late though. Later that night, the zombie launched her assault. She quickly murdered the priestess, and opened the outer gates to allow the horde to consume the temple and the monk.

There have been reports of a 'bright green zombie carrying swords' roaming around the hills of Northern Japan. She's been named "The Jade Ronin."
